Shortly before the trip, I received an invitation to a multi-class class reunion for my contemporaries at Kearny High School. I was in the class of January, 1962 and the contact person for our class was Gail Carson. She now lives at Lake Mohawk near Sparta, New Jersey with her 7-year old granddaughter. Since I have other commitments on the weekend of the reunion, I decided to deliver my regrets in person.
